In the late 1930s, a transcontinental train, the Blue Train, quietly began a legendary journey that left a trail of footprints and blood across the country. At the same time, in New York, an ambitious scientist, Szilard, and his reluctant assistant, Ennis, are searching for the lost bottles of the Elixir of Immortality. Furthermore, a war between mafia groups worsened the situation. In 1711, in Advena Avis, alchemists discovered the value of the Elixir of Immortality. This anime is based on the entertaining award-winning novel of the same name and is consistent with several events that initially seem unrelated in both time and place. But they are part of a much larger story about alchemy, survival, and immortality. Isaac and Miria come into contact with various people, and they all get entangled in the consequences of the eternal contracts they have created, driven by their ambitions and hidden plans.
